Amendment97th Congress
An amendment to require the Inspector General of the Department of the Interior to review all audit reports prepared by the Department since January 1977, pertaining to Bureau of Reclamation water projects. The Inspector General shall transmit to the Secretary of the Interior and the Congress, within 90 days of the bill's enactment, a list of recommendations based on his review. The Secretary is required to enact the recommendations within 270 days unless he informs Congress in writing why he is not doing so.
