Amendment97th Congress
An amendment to state that Congress understands that the country of Belize has expressed interest and willingness in the resettlement in its territory of haitian nationals who desire to settle in Belize. Therefore, the President is authorized to furnish assistance, on such terms and conditions as he may determine, to assist the Government of Belize in the resettlement of haitian nationals in the national territory of Belize.
