An amendment to request the President to call a White House Conference on Agriculture to be held not later than one year after enactment of this act. Members of the conference shall be appointed by the President from among 1) heads of organizations comprised of producers of agricultural commodities, 2) representatives of the banking industry, 3) representatives of businesses which provide services, or produce goods, used by producers of agricultural commodities, 4) heads of organizations representing consumers, and 5) producers of agricultural commodities. A report is to be made by the Conference to the President and Congress within one year of the members appointment.
