Amendment97th Congress
An amendment to provide for congressional review of certain export sales of Commodity Credit Corporation stocks. If the sale exceeds 5,000,000 dollars for a commodity which is to be exported and the value to be received is less than 85 percent of the value of the quantity to be sold, the sale cannot be consummated until the Secretary reports to the Speaker of the House and the President of the Senate the specifics of the transaction. The Congress then has 30 days to disapprove the sale by a concurrent resolution.
