Amendment97th Congress
An amendment to the Frank amendment. The amendment strikes all of the language of the amendment which spells out the price support levels and conditions and substitutes that the minimum level of price support for milk shall be 70 percent provided that the minimum price support level be $13.10 per hundredweight. The Jeffords amendment removes the provision that permits a variable price support rate if purchase of milk exceed 750,000,000 dollars.
