Amendments en bloc to reduce funds for energy supply, research and development activities of the Department of Energy from $2,115,499,000 to $2,105,499,000 and to increase funds for atomic energy defense activities from $1,063,453,000 to $1,073,453,000. The transfer of $10 million is intended to delete funds for the privately owned Barnwell nuclear fuel plant in South Carolina and transfer it to the Department of Energy's Savannah River nuclear waste solidification project in South Carolina.
