Amendment97th Congress
An amendment on the limitation of sales of silver from the national defense stockpile. Any authority of the President to dispose of silver now held in the national defense stockpile is terminated as of September 30, 1982, unless the President thirty days prior to such date determines that the remaining silver authorized for disposal is more than current requirements. Such a determination must meet certain criteria set out in the amendment text.
