Amendment97th Congress
A substitute amendment to the Schroeder amendment to require the President to submit to Congress by January 14, 1982 a recommendation on improving the efficiency and management of and the elimination of waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement in the Department of Defense. It also requires a report on the implementation of recommendations of the Comptroller General on elimination of waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement in DOD showing what has been implemented, the savings, and what has not been implemented and why.
