Amendment97th Congress
An amendment to add a new section on military base reuse studies and community planning assistance. The amendment provides $2,000,000 for assistance programs to communities who have bases which are expanded by more than 2,500 military and civilian DOD personnel or who have bases or installations that are closed, realigned. Communities affected by the cancellation or termination of a DOD defense contract may also be eligible for this aid.
