- Purpose
- To provide that the provision limiting the payment of social security benefits to nonresident aliens shall not apply to individuals who initially become eligible for social security benefits within 10 years after the date of enactment of the Social Security Amendments of 1983 on the basis of the wages and self-employment income of an individual who has 80 or more quarters of coverage prior to such date.
