- Providing that the term "deposit broker" shall not include a person in an agency relationship with an insured institution where, as of September 12, 1984, that institution utilized such persons to serve exclusively that insured institution for the purpose of soliciting deposit funds and providing loan applications / services for the residents of the State in which the institutionis located and where such persons are regulated and examined by the corporation.
