- Purpose
- An amendment to insert a new section at the end of the bill to direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to make grants to assist States in conforming with minimum drivers' license standards. Amendment reduces funding to the Office of the Secretary and Executive Management, Office of the Under Secretary for Management, Office of the Under Secretary for Border and Transportation Security - Salaries and Expenses, Information Analysis and Infrastructure Protection - Management and Administration, and Science and Technology - Research, Development, Acquisition and Operations.
