- Purpose
- To amend the Tariff Act of 1930 regarding same condition drawbacks and same kind and quality drawbacks, and to allow drawbacks if imported bulk articles are exchanged for domestic articles that are used in the manufacture or production of exports; to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 regarding the importation of certain firearms; to suspend for a 3-year period the duty on a certain chemical intermediate; to permit until December 31, 1986, the duty-free entry of magnetron tubes used in certain cooking appliances; to make technical corrections; to temporarily suspend until September 30, 1988, the duty on tetra amino biphenyl; and to provide for the duty free entry of articles required for the installation and operation of a telescope in Arizona.
