- Purpose
- To provide that it is the sense of Congress that the President's Commission on Strategic Forces, has rendered an outstanding public service and that its report is a sound blueprint for maintaining effective deterrence and international stability for the future. In this context, the Congress endorses and hereby authorizes the limited MX program, as provided in this Act, and the associated authorization of appropriations provided in this Act.
