Amendments en bloc to 1) provide that permits health care students to leave full time programs for up to two years to engage in activities related to health care professions to continue to be exempt from immediate repayment of loans due to interrupted educations, 2) language conforming to the reduction in funds from a previous amendment (HA1095), 3) reduce funds for the National Health Service Corps Programs by 5 million dollars for each of the three years funded in the bill, 4) reduce funds for Health Maintenance Organizations + Migrant + Community Health Centers by 116 million dollars over four fiscal years, and 4) prohibits the requirement that health maintenance organizations include organ transplants to qualify under the Public Health Services Act (Title XIII).
