Amendments en bloc to strike the 79 million dollars in funds provided for programs under Title VIII of the Public Health Service Act for the fiscal year ending 9/30/88. The amendment also permits the Secretary to enter into contracts with schools of medicine and osteopathy which previously received federal financial assistance under section 802 of the Health Professionals Educational Assistance Act of 1975, if they meet certain criteria.
