Amendment98th Congress
An amendment dealing with notice by federal agencies. The amendment requires any federal agency that sells real property owned by the U.S. to give notice to the purchaser of any federally regulated hazardous waste that was disposed of or stored for a year or more on the property in question. Deeds for such property must contain a convenant warranting that all remedial action necessary to protect human health and the environment was taken prior to the transfer.
