Amendment98th Congress
An amendment to provide for crediting to states expenses they incur for remedial action on any facility prior to its being listed on the National Priorities List. The expenses must be reasonable, documented, direct, and out of pocket nonfederal expenditures. The Administrator must make a determination that such costs would have been credited to the State had the site been listed prior to the remedial action by the State.
