An amendment to language to the mandatory cleanup standards provisions such that the standards of the Toxic Substances Control Act, the Safe Drinking Water Act, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act or any water quality criteria under the Clean Water Act must be "relevant and appropriate under the circumstances presented by the release or threatened release" of the toxic substance, pollutant, or contaminant.
