An amendment to substitute a new text for Chapter XII, Funds Appropriated to the President. The new text would retain the bill's funding levels for operating expenses and payment to the Foreign Service Retirement & Disability Fund under AID. It would raise the level of funding for AID, Health, Development Assistance from 7.5 million to 25.5 million dollars, and add 10 million dollars for AID Rural Development, Agriculture, & Nutrition Development Assistance. It strikes funds for the C.J. Zablocki outpatient facility in Poland. It raises funds for the President's Economic Support fund from 170 million to 275 million dollars, striking all restrictions on its use and raises the President's military assistance program funds from 24.75 million to 180 million dollars, striking restrictions on its use. It also makes further changes.
