A substitute amendment to the Goodling amendment to increase the funding levels offered in the Goodling amendment to increase the funding levels offered in the Goodling amendment setting authorization levels at: Adult Education 140 million dollars, Bilingual Education - 176 million dollars, Act of 9/30/50 + Act of 9/23/50 - 780 million dollars Women's Educational Equity - 28 million dollars, Emergency Immigrant Education - 70 million dollars, Sec. 405(k) of the General Education Provisions Act - 12 million dollars, Education Amendments of 1978 (secs. 1524 + 1525) - 5 million dollars, and such sums are necessary to carry out the Asbestos School Hazard Detection and Control Act of 1980.
