An amendment to strike section 801 which establishes (1) an Office of Migrant Education within the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education, (2) an Office of Equity Training and Technical Assistance within the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education, and (3) an Office of Women's Educational Equity within the Office of Educational Research and Improvement. The section would prohibit these offices from coming under the reorganizational authority of the Secretary.
