An amendment to increase the state share of proceeds from sales of "forest products" harvested on U.S. military reservations from 25 percent to 40 percent. The amendment changes existing law that permits shares of proceeds from the sale of timber and timber products to "forest products". It also specifies that the Treasury reserve account administered by Defense may be used for improvements of forest lands, unanticipated contingencies in administration of forest lands and production of forest products, and for carry over costs from year to year on such projects. It sets the limit on the reserve at 4,000,000 dollars.
