An amendment to provide for a Bone Marrow Registry demonstration and study. The amendment directs the Secretary of HHS to establish a bone marrow registry of voluntary donors of bone marrow. The registry is to be confidential and must be established within 12 months of passage of the bill. A study is to be made of the registry to determine if it is needed and appropriate. The study is to be presented to Congress within two years of establishment of the registry.
