Amendment98th Congress
An amendment to prohibit the commitment of U.S. troops in the Middle East, Korea, or Western Europe for combat. This is not to apply if 1) Congress declares war or enacts specific authorization for such introduction, 2) the introduction is necessary because of a) clear and present danger of hostile attack on the U.S., its territories or posessions, or c) provide necessary protection for and to evacuate U.S. government personnel or U.S. citizens.
