An amendment to require the President to report to Congress by 1/15/85 on the extent to which countries in the Middle East, who have received under this act, is pursuing policies that enhance the peace process based on the U.N. Security Council Resolutions 242 and 338, the Camp David Accords and the principle of direct negotiations without preconditions. The report is to contain recommendations on actions appropriate to advance the peace process based on these principles.
