An amendment earmarks up to $15,000,000 for the American University of Beirut for FY'85. It also directs the Secretary of State to conduct a study of what means would be most appropriate to continue such a level of financial assistance to the university in future years "in view of the university's value to United States interests in the area", including the possibility of establishing a trust fund. A report is to be made to Congress by 1/1/85.
