The amendment provides 306.8 million dollars for direct and immediate participation loans, designating 31.2 million dollars for veterans and 20.8 million dollars for handicapped, as well as allocating specified sums for other groups. It provides 4.43 million dollars for deferred participation loans and provides 72.8 million dollars for purchases of debentures and preferred securities and to make 260 million dollars in guarantees of debentures. The amendment also designates funds for various programs.
