An amendment to the section dealing with "interim status permits" to provide that each landfill shall be required to conduct a health effect study for the affected community of the hazardous waste associated with the landfill. It requires that the results of the study be made public within a year of enactment, submitted to the state involved, and shall be periodically updated.
