An amendment to provide increases in appropriations as follows: For employment and training in Department of Labor, from $2,861,284,000 to $2,961,284,000; for human development services in HHS, from $1,825,436,000 to $1,850,436,000; for bilingual education, from $138,057,000 to $142,057,000; for education of handicapped, from $1,159,792,000 to $1,204,792,000; for student financial assistance, from $3,697,360,000 to $3,913,360,000; and for higher education, from $394,270,000 to $404,270,000.
