Amendment98th Congress
An amendment to change the unit of eligibility in the formula for allotment of funds from states to jurisdictions within states that are a municipality of 50,000 or more individuals or the area of any country regardless of population. The funds are to be provided to these local jurisdictions. The amendment also adds that if on the basis of the formula a state is to receive less than $25,000 an allocation will not be made. The total funds for allotments are to be divided among those eligible.
