Amendment98th Congress
An amendment to change the statute under which funds for law enforcement assistance are expended from the Justice System Improvement Act of 1979 to the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968. The amendment also provides $92,800,000 for the Attorney General to use in providing Federal law enforcement assistance to states to address crime problems of serious and epidemic proportions.
