An amendment to strike the provisions in the bill for funding the Special Account for Adjustment Assistance and substitute new provisions. The new provisions set the level of funding for FY'84 at $217 million with a cap of $27.5 million for adjustment assistance to firms under chapter 3 and at $163 million with a cap of $27.5 million for adjustment assistance to firms under chapter 3 and at $163 million for FY'85, with the same cap of chapter 3 firms as in FY'84.
