Amendment98th Congress
An amendment to strike the text dealing with small quantity generator waste and substitute new language providing for reports by small quantity waste generators (between 100 kg and 1000 kg per month); requires the Administrator to promulgate regulations for small firms which may differ from those for larger firms as long as human health and the environment are protected. Firms generating less than 100 kg/month may have special regulations or be exempted from regulations; and the Administrator must take efforts to inform producers of their responsibilities. The amendment sets out the same regulations for firms producing between 100 kg and 1000 kg per month. The amendment sets out that the regulations to be promulgated must include manifest listing requirements.
