An amendment to the Shelby amendment to make the regulation requirements specified in the Shelby amendment for firms generating from 100 kg to 1000 kg of waste per month apply to firms that generate from 25 kg to 1000 kg per month. The amendment also adds that in cases of the most ignitible corrosive, reactive, or toxic types of hazardous wastes regulations must require that the transporter be notified of the cargo.
