Amendment98th Congress
An amendment to the Young (FL) amendment which would strike the language of the Young (FL) amendment and substitute a sense of the Congress that the Government of Nicaragua should enter into an agreement with the governments of the other countries in the region that Nicaragua will not support military or paramilitary operations by antigovernment forces in any country in Central America. Appropriate verification of compliance is required. Also Nicaragua should comply with agreements to move to free elections.
