Amendment98th Congress
An amendment providing for verification of eligibility of families for certain assistance under the U.S. Housing Act of 1937. The amendment provides that the public housing agency must certify that each family in the project is eligible to reside in the project. This verification is to be reviewed on an annual basis. The families involved are to release information needed to make the verification and if the family applicant provides false information he may be denied such housing.
