An amendment to prohibit the use of funds in the bill to pay for an abortion, except where the life of the mother would be endangered if the fetus is carried to term. Also, funds may not be used to administer any health plan for Federal employees which would provide benefits for abortions except where the life of the mother would be endangered if the fetus is carried to term.
