- Purpose
- To amend section 1402(e) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 to modify the conditions under which a member of the clergy may receive an exemption from the tax imposed under chapter 2 of subtitle A of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, to permit a member of the clergy to revoke an exemption received under such section under certain circumstances, and to make a technical correction with respect to the adjustment for windfall benefits provided under section 215(a)(7) of the Social Security Act.
