An amendment to require owners of any assisted housing for the elderly that has a mandatory meals program to provide notice to tenants that exemptions from the program may be obtained if the program does not satisfactorily accommodate their special dietary or health needs, interferes with their employment, imposes an unbearable financial burden, or for any other reason the owner determines to be appropriate.
