An amendment to strike the following export-related provisions; the requirement for re-export licenses; the requirement to decontrol 40 percent of the least military-significant goods and technologies from the current list of controlled goods and technologies; the requirement that a private industry representative serve on the Coordinating Committee on Multilateral Export Controls (COCOM); the requirement that prevents the Commerce Department from detaining any export good requiring only a general license on the docks for more than ten days; and the authorization of an additional $5 million for the Office of Export Administration over the Administration's request.
