An amendment to provide for studies in cooperation with Canada on plans for development, utilization and conservation of water and related land resources in Rainy River Basin, Minnesota and Ontario, at an estimated cost of $400,000. The amendment specifies that the study must include consideration of needs for flood reduction, "wise" use of flood plain lands, navigation facilities, hydroelectric power generation, water supply and quality, and enhancement and conservation of fish, wildlife, and wildrice production.
