Amendment99th Congress
An amendment to strike all provisions of Title II, Banking, Finance, and Urban Affairs, and insert a new provision. The new language strikes funds for 1) housing reauthorization, 2) Ocean and Coastal Resources Block Grant Program, 3) Coastal Zone Management Act amendments, 4) pay increases for federal civilian employees. It keeps the highway and airport trust funds on budget until 1989. And it keeps the 75 percent cap on federal share of health benefits for federal employees. It strikes three studies authorized by the Veterans Affairs Committee.
