The amendment would establish a 10 member commission to provide for a study of whether 1) the government's job classification & compensation systems comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act, 2) hiring & promotion policies comply with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and report on 3) effectiveness of policies designed to encourage a) integration of individuals into occupations where persons of a particular sex, race, or ethnic group are traditionally underrepresented, & 4) trends relating to promotions of such persons. Special attention is to be paid to women's matters and recommendations, including cost estimates, are to be made on enhancing federal equal opportunity.
