Amendment99th Congress
An amendment adding a new section, Honey Loan Maximum. The amendment permits the Secretary of Agriculture to set the maximum honey loan at a crop year at $250,000 under the nonrecourse loan program. It also permits the unused balance to be a recourse loan. This may not be effected if it would have an undue ill effect on the structure or on agricultural interests that depend on commercial bee colonies for pollination.
