An amendment to require the Secretary of Agriculture to direct the Federal Grain Inspection Service and the Agricultural Research Service to cooperate in developing new means of establishing grain classification taking into account characteristics other than those visually evident. The Secretary is to report to Congress by 12/31/85 on the status of the efforts as it relates to more accurately classifying types of wheat and other grains now in use.
