An amendment to the Jeffords amendment to add that all households shall be allowed a deduction, other than those paid on behalf of the household by a third party, all reasonable expenses paid for transportation of members of the household to and from school and for the purchase or rental of school books for such members. The deduction is made in food stamp eligibility calculations.
