An amendment by asking unanimous consent to strike section 715 from the bill. Section 715 deals with the limitation on introduction of armed forces into El Salvador and Nicaragua for combat. It prohibited introduction of troops for combat into these countries unless Congress declared war or they were introduced according to the War Powers Resolution.
