Amendment99th Congress
An amendment requiring the Secretary of State to report in 90 days on the extent to which international civil servants employed by the U.S. are required to return all or part of their salaries to their respective governments, including steps taken by the Department of States and the U.S. U.N. representative to correct this matter. A report by 1/1/77 is to be made on progress in correcting these practices. If progress has not been made the U.S. is to reduce its annual contribution of the salaries in proportion to the amount that salaries are being returned to the employees countries.
