An amendment to the Brown (CA) amendment adding $20 million for Air Force research, development, test, and evaluation to carry out the satellite survivability project of the Air Force Space Survivability Program. The amendment also requires the Secretary of the Air Force to report to the Armed Services Committees of the Congress by 2/1/86 on the development of long term survivability criteria and research investment strategies to improve U.S. satellite survivability in view of current and anticipated Soviet anti-satellite weapons capabilities.
